Mahi's first aid to Greece with 53 boxes of non perishable food items and clothing, have already left.
Goods were collected by the Nafpaktiaki Adelfotis in Toronto, initiated by our good friend Mrs.Effie Tsatsou.

MAHI is happy to announce that the ship is ready and on its way to bring the food and necessities we all gathered for Greece! Many long hours and days were involved in the whole process, the Greek Community of Vancouver, BC, came together and supported Mahi's effort to successfully send a container of humanitarian aid to Greece.
The container's contents will be distributed amongst the organizations Mahi Society supports in Greece: Kyvotos, To Hamogelo tou Paidiou, Alkyoni, Kemop and many others.
Mahi Society thanks all those who volunteered and offered goods for this cause.
100 New outfits for children in Nafpaktos, Greece, Nov. 2012.
Mahi Society donated 100 packages of new clothing to children in Nafpaktos, Greece, just in time for the Christmas Holidays.
Letters of appreciation have been arriving from all the institutions and organisations we have reached out to. Some lovely drawings and letters from children too have filled our hearts with love.

The Association “Halcyon” is a benevolent non-profit association, recognized by the Ministry of Health and Social Solidarity, included in the National Register of Voluntary NGOs .
It is specialized and activated in the field of people with disabilities since 2003, in the city of Nafpaktos and the wider area, where there is no other relevant state or private institution for the care of the disabled.

This holiday season 50 families had a beautiful holiday feast thanks to Mahi Society Donations. We were able to provide these families with enough fresh local Greek meat for the holidays. The pictures here go beyond words.
